Mothers.......and more

I am very thankful for such a loving family, and their expressions of love especially on this 2011 Mother's Day Sunday.     I never take my children (grown and younger) for granted......each one is unique and precious.     Since I am trying not to be overly distracted by this computer on a day for family times, this is a short post.
My own mom has been gone around 20 years now.    I do miss her very much.   Treasure each day you have with your loved ones.......those days are each one a gift unto themselves.

Choosing a Blog Name.......finally!

I have intended to start a blog for a year or so, but one obstacle for me has been what to call it.    A few months back, this title came to me.......I am certain it was revealed by divine means ........and it keeps hanging around in my mind as the one I should use, so here it is: Behold A White Horse!    Two scriptures:   Revelation 6:2 (KJV) and Revelation 19:11 (KJV) feature this phrase:  ".....behold a white horse....."     
So, why to use this phrase for my blog name?     The best way I know how to explain it is to say that I wanted this blog to help remind me and any who might view/read it that no matter how challenging our days, someday soon, so wonderfully, we too will "behold a white horse" and most important of all, He that sits upon it called Faithful and True.   The burdens and cares of our present life will immediately fade away.    
Thanks for being a part of it all.......only God knows how He intends to use this blog, for myself and hopefully for others.   So I embrace this day's touchstone and promise to continue to enjoy the journey, blessed by God's grace and love in my life!
